Competition Guide
RNKX turns real training into competitive sport. Every workout earns points. Every point moves your rank. Your wearable records it — the leaderboard decides.
Two leagues
Run
Indoor and outdoor running. Scored on pace and duration — faster running, more points.
Example: a 45-minute run at 5:00/km ≈ 150–180 points.
Engine
Everything else: strength, HIIT, conditioning, functional, hybrid. Scored on heart-rate effort and duration — higher sustained effort, more points.
Example: 45 minutes at 75–80% max HR ≈ 140–180 points.
Compete in one or both. Two leagues, two ranks — scores never cross.
What counts
- Workouts over 15 minutes.
- Started as the right workout type on your device — runs score RUN, everything else scores ENGINE.
- Your two highest-scoring workouts per day count.
- Score = points per minute × duration. Work harder, score more.
The consistency bonus
RNKX rewards showing up. Multiple scoring workouts in the same Monday–Sunday week earn automatic bonus points — the app shows your progress to the next one.
The ladder
Everyone starts in Open, ranked against athletes of similar ability. Finish strong — promotion. Finish near the bottom — relegation. Open is the entry division: you can’t be relegated out of it. Elite is the summit: nowhere higher, only defending your place.
Seasons
Seasons run 6–8 weeks, leaderboards live the whole way. At season end, results lock: promotions and relegations are applied, the board resets to zero, and your achievements stay on your profile. New season, fresh climb.
Fair play
Real data only. Automated anti-cheat reviews every activity — fake workouts get removed, cheats get banned. Disagree with a scoring decision? Appeal in the app within 24 hours.
Compete with friends and clubs on exactly the same scoring. Full rulebook: in the app, under Settings.
